Red’s Tattoo & Body Piercing opened in November of 2002. We have a great staff whose professionalism and friendly attitude will make you feel welcome and confident that you will get the best service available anywhere in RI.
On our tattoo end of the studio we have Jay Sessions, our graffiti writer tattooing since 2002, and Jason Banks with over 5 years of experience, both specializing in custom designs drawn to your specifications.
In piercing we have T.J. who has been licensed and working with us since April 2005. Then there’s Anthony our Manager/Body Piercer/Tattooist that keeps things running smooth.

Five Decades of experience as a tattoo artist has enabled me to witness many changes in the profession. I feel qualified to affirm that I am, at the least, one of the premier cover-up artists in this trade today. Being one of the innovators of free-hand original tattoos, I applied my talents to re-designing old or poorly done work. For the most part, tattooists of the past were mainly draftsmen, relying on plastic stencils and crude flash to assist them in their work. Happily, today more of the tattoo technicians have become artists and are elevating the profession to new heights; I applaud them. Now, in the twenty-first century, we are becoming more specialized in our line of endeavor.
My personal specialty has remained free-hand, cover-up, and re-design, achieved by doing primarily port
